Welcome to the official Valverde Botas collection. You will not find mass-produced footwear here: every pair is handcrafted in our workshops in Valverde del Camino (Huelva), the home of traditional Spanish country boots, drawing on expertise passed down by master shoemakers since the 19th century.
We specialise in working with premium cowhide and oiled leather. In models featuring Goodyear welted construction, this stitching creates a strong bond and preserves our workshop’s shoemaking tradition.

Bota or Boto? Understanding the Tradition
In Valverde, terminology matters. You will often see us use the term Boto Campero for the most traditional styles: tall boots without a zip. They are a favourite among pilgrims travelling to the El Rocío pilgrimage and for work in the countryside.
Our Botas, meanwhile, range from technical riding boots to urban designs with zips, while retaining the sturdy character of the classic Spanish country boot. If you are looking for lighter footwear in warmer weather without giving up the strength of Goodyear stitching, we recommend exploring our men’s leather shoes, handcrafted using the same carefully selected leather as the rest of our workshop’s footwear.
