We strive to guarantee a space committed to the rights of our users and customers, which is why we recommend that you carefully read these terms before completing your purchase process and ask us about anything you feel needs additional clarification.
WE GUARANTEE YOUR TRUST
These General Conditions, together with any Special Conditions that may be established, regulate the legal relationship arising from the contracting processes completed by: LAZO Y DUQUE S.L. and the users of its online store provided through the website VALVERDEBOTAS.COM and its associated links. VALVERDEBOTAS.COM may be used by any user as long as they comply with all the terms stipulated in these Conditions and in the special conditions of the different domains.
This document is available at all times for reading and printing on this website and in the purchase confirmation email that we will send to our customers, as established by R.D. 1906/1999 regulating Telephone or Electronic Contracting, and Law 7/1996 on Retail Commerce Management (amended by Law 47/2000 of December 19) in its applicable provisions on distance selling in articles 38 et seq.

These terms and conditions govern the relationship between LAZO Y DUQUE S.L. and the clients who purchase the products offered on our website.
These terms will be binding from the moment any of the products offered on the website VALVERDEBOTAS.COM are purchased.
The main characteristics of each product are described in their corresponding product sheets or sections (characteristics, price, offers, discounts, etc.).
Offers will be duly marked and identified as such, indicating both the previous price and the offer price.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE OFFERED PRODUCTS
Our e-commerce offers the sale of footwear and accessories (hats, bags, belts).
All these orders are individualized and handmade by our expert craftsmen.
Offers will be marked as such and will be valid as long as they appear on your screen. These offers may be modified or cancelled without prior notice.
PURCHASE VALIDATION
Once the purchase has been made and in the shortest possible time, always within 24 hours of completing the purchase, VALVERDEBOTAS.COM will send an order confirmation by email. If you do not agree with the details in this confirmation, you may request their modification or the cancellation of the contract.
In any case, this communication must be made within 24 hours of the order confirmation, via email to INFO@VALVERDEBOTAS.COM, provided that the product has not yet been manufactured.
TECHNICAL MEANS TO CORRECT ERRORS
If the Customer makes an error when submitting data, they may modify them in the "My Profile" section at any time.
If the error occurs during the contracting process, it can be corrected at any time before completing the purchase process.
If the modified data refers to the postal address to which the Customer has requested delivery, it can be updated provided that the product has not been processed and the change has been communicated by email to INFO@VALVERDEBOTAS.COM. If the change is communicated after the order has been shipped, and the package has been returned to our facilities and its condition verified, the costs corresponding to the second shipment will be charged.
SHIPPING COSTS AND DELIVERY TIMES
Shipments will be made once your order has been confirmed and payment has been completed as described in "Payment Methods".
Before that, we will send you an email with the purchase confirmation, assigning you an order number.
Shipping costs will be reflected in the order and calculated automatically based on the purchase made.
At Valverde Botas, we make an important distinction regarding shipping costs, depending on whether the order is placed from Spain or abroad.
Orders within Spain
Shipping costs for orders placed from any part of Spain will depend on the selected payment method, regardless of the province to which they are sent.
The options are as follows:
- Bank transfer or deposit to our account: free shipping.
- Credit card: free shipping.
- PayPal: free shipping.
- Cash on delivery (COD): shipping costs of €3.50.
- Shipping costs to Canary Islands: €10.00.
- Shipping costs to Balearic Islands: €10.00.

CUSTOMS AND TAXES
In the case of international orders outside Spain (excluding Ceuta, Melilla, and the Canary Islands) and outside the European Union, all orders will be subject to customs clearance fees and local taxes that may apply. The payment of these charges is the customer's responsibility and depends on the customs policies of each country. Please note that our prices do not include foreign taxes or customs duties, which vary by country and are the responsibility of the final buyer. Likewise, for orders to Ceuta, Melilla, and the Canary Islands, the buyer must pay the costs of the corresponding customs DUA (SAD) and local tax. In the event that the customer does not meet any customs obligation, such as paying duties or fees, we reserve the right to cancel your order, and you may lose the right to a refund.
International orders
Shipping costs for orders from abroad will vary depending on the destination region.
We do not accept cash on delivery (COD) for international orders.
- Shipping to Western Europe: shipping costs of €15
- Shipping to the rest of Europe and Norway: shipping costs of €25
- Switzerland, Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, and Sweden: shipping costs of €50
- Oceania: shipping costs of €100
- Romania and rest of the world: shipping costs of €65

Transport Agencies:
At Valverde Botas, we work with different transport companies depending on the destination of the national or international orders.
National orders, Balearic Islands, and Portugal (except Canary Islands): We work with the transport company MRW.
Canary Islands orders: We work with the postal company Correos.
International orders: We work with the transport company TNT.
Delivery times:
In-stock products:
In general, unless there are holidays in between, we follow this rule to assign you the closest delivery date we can offer. As a reference, these are the conditions we apply to shipments of in-stock products:
National orders (except Canary Islands): 24/48 business hours.
Canary Islands orders: 10 business days.
International orders: 3 – 4 business days.
There are no order dispatches or deliveries on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Out-of-stock products:
Products that are not in stock are manufactured when the customer places the order.
The manufacturing period is normally 15 business days. The manufacturing time is explicitly indicated on these products in red.
Valverde Botas does not guarantee the availability or delivery times of products offered on VALVERDEBOTAS.COM, except for products whose availability is explicitly cited (in-stock products). Therefore, delivery times apply to items in stock and orders placed from Monday to Friday before 10:00 AM. For orders placed on weekends or after 10:00 AM, the period starts on the next business day (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays).
If there is any unforeseen delay in the delivery of the order, we will contact you via your email address or the phone number provided during registration to find a solution.

Orders will be considered delivered once the customer signs the delivery receipt. It is the customer's responsibility to verify the state of the package and any anomalies due to damage to the material or if the content does not correspond to the delivery note.
Shipment will be made to the address and recipient provided during the purchase process. Before you place your order, we will inform you of the expected delivery details.

Occasionally, the transport company returns orders that could not be delivered to our facilities because the recipient was absent from the address, the address was incorrect, and contact could not be established. In these cases, we notify the user to arrange a new shipment, confirming the correct address. If the user does not respond, we store the package in our facilities for a maximum of 30 days.
In the event of a new shipment due to an error in the customer's address, shipping costs will be charged again.
PAYMENT CONDITIONS AND METHODS
The prices of the products offered on VALVERDEBOTAS.COM include Spanish VAT. However, the final price of your order may vary depending on the VAT tax rate applied to the order.
Purchases outside the European Union: As set forth in Law 37/1992 of December 28, governing Value Added Tax (VAT), and European Directive 2008/8/EC, the transaction may be exempt or not subject to VAT depending on the buyer's country of residence and the capacity in which they act (business/professional or individual).
Therefore, sales to a foreign individual (non-EU resident), whether online or not, are exempt under Article 21 of VAT Law 37/1992. Nevertheless, the final price will appear during order confirmation and will reflect the VAT rate corresponding to the destination country of the products.
Purchases within the European Union: For orders destined for other EU countries, Spanish VAT will be applied.
Prices of the Services may change at any time at the sole and exclusive discretion of Valverde Botas. The Services do not offer price protection or refunds in the event of price reductions or promotional offers.
The user/buyer agrees to pay for the products acquired from Valverde Botas through the accepted payment methods and for any additional amount (including taxes and late fees, as applicable).
ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
Bank transfer, Credit Card, and PayPal up to 3 installments.
Only for Spain and Portugal, cash on delivery (COD) is available with an additional cost of €3.50.
No other payment method is accepted.
Payment is always 100% upfront, and orders will be shipped once payment is confirmed.
VALIDITY OF PRICES AND OFFERS
The products and services offered, along with their prices, will be available for purchase while they remain in the product catalog displayed on the website. Users are requested to access updated versions of the website to avoid pricing errors. In any case, processing orders will maintain their conditions for 7 days from their formalization.
RETURNS AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In compliance with current regulations, the user has the right of withdrawal for a minimum period of 14 calendar days.

The customer may exercise this right without needing to explain the reason for their decision and without any penalty.
The withdrawal period will expire 14 calendar days from the day the customer received the product.
To meet the deadline, it is sufficient that the communication regarding the exercise of this right is sent before the corresponding period expires.
Consequences of withdrawal
When the customer has exercised the right of withdrawal, VALVERDEBOTAS will be obliged to refund all payments received from the customer, without retaining expenses, including, where applicable, the product delivery costs (except for additional costs arising from a delivery method chosen by the customer that is not the cheapest ordinary delivery method available in the Online Store). This refund must be made without undue delay and, in any case, within 14 calendar days from the date on which we are informed of the customer's decision to withdraw from the contract.
We will carry out this refund using the same payment method used by the customer for the initial transaction.
The customer must return or deliver the products directly to us within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the date they communicate their decision to withdraw from the Contract. The deadline is met if the goods are returned before this period has expired. The customer must bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
The customer is only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Common Provisions
The right to withdraw from the Contract will apply exclusively to products returned in the same condition as received, without prejudice to the legal exceptions to this right.
No refund will be made if the product has been used beyond mere opening, or if products are not in the same condition they were delivered, or have suffered damage. You must be careful with the product(s) while they are in your possession.
To approve the return request, it must meet the following conditions:
- The product must be in perfect condition.
- Clothing items or accessories must have all tags attached as received.
- Footwear must be returned without any signs of wear or use.
- For products with adhesive protectors: if the adhesive protector has been removed, the product cannot be exchanged or returned for hygiene and health reasons.
Please note that you do not have the right to return personalized products, as they have been manufactured exclusively for each user. These products cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing defect.
The item must be returned including all original packaging, instructions, and other accompanying documents. In any case, you must present the completed ticket or invoice received at the time of delivery along with the product to be returned.
For the return of footwear, it is essential that the item retains its original tag. Please try them on before removing the tag in case you wish to return them, as returns require the product to keep its tag.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article 103 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of November 16, approving the revised text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, the right of withdrawal will not apply to the following products:
The supply of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, which are delivered sealed and are not suitable for return if unsealed. Opened, used, or unsealed products are explicitly included in this category.
Any other exception legally contemplated that excludes the right of withdrawal.
The consumer and user will only be responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, or functioning.
The customer agrees to keep the products in perfect condition until they are shipped. After the period to communicate withdrawal has passed, no returns will be accepted.
The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in the following cases:
- The product is incomplete, missing accessories, or is damaged/tampered with.
- Products with clear signs of having been used (scuffs on the toes, marks on the soles, etc.).
- Personalized products or those that for hygiene reasons or others are not eligible for return.
- Missing accessories, instructions, or any other documentation.
- The established period for this purpose has expired.
- Proof of purchase and delivery note are not provided.

What to do if the order arrived defective:
If the product is not in good condition for reasons not attributable to the customer, the customer has the right to return the product at no cost, informing Valverde Botas of the reason for the return through any of the means provided in these conditions. This return due to defect or poor condition of the product will not be considered a right of withdrawal.
Valverde Botas agrees to assume the return costs and replace the product with a new one or refund the amount, in accordance with the conditions accepted at the time of sale.
The refund will be made through the payment method used in the purchase process, once the package is received and its condition is verified, within a maximum of 10 days after receipt.
Product that does not correspond to the order by mistake: once the error is verified, the correct product will be shipped. LAZO Y DUQUE S.L. will also assume the shipping costs of the incorrect product and the delivery of the correct one.

If the reason for the return of an order or part of it is not covered in the list above, we will not refund the item amount or shipping costs. Example: if you do not like the design, color, or quality of the item, etc.
Valverde Botas will not accept freight collect (postage due) or COD shipments where shipping or return costs have not been prepaid when applicable.
The product must be in perfect condition with all its accessories.
If the return is within the accepted cases, and its condition is verified, we will refund the order amount, deducting shipping costs, via bank transfer.
The customer must preserve the original packaging; otherwise, the product will suffer a depreciation. If returning an already opened product, we recommend packaging it securely with all original protections provided by Valverde Botas. Please note it may suffer impacts during transport, and if received damaged, a surcharge for depreciation will be applied.
For the refund, the customer can choose between a Discount Voucher, Credit in their user account, or a direct refund.
The maximum period to receive a refund is 14 calendar days through the payment method used. If you have not received it after this period, please contact us at INFO@VALVERDEBOTAS.COM.
Legal Guarantee
Pursuant to RDL 1/2007, durable goods have a 3-year guarantee from the delivery date.
Defects caused by negligence, impact, misuse, tampering, or wear and tear from normal use are excluded.
In cases justifying the use of the guarantee, the repair, replacement, discount, or refund of the amount will be chosen under legally established terms.
Lack of conformity and consumer claims
1. LAZO Y DUQUE S.L. is liable to the Consumer for any lack of conformity at the time of delivery of the purchased goods, as defined in the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other applicable regulations.
2. Products presented on the website may be covered by a manufacturer's or distributor's guarantee. The detailed terms and conditions of the guarantee and its duration will be specified in the guarantee card issued by the guarantor and included with the product.
3. LAZO Y DUQUE S.L. is obliged to provide the Consumer with a defect-free product.

If a claim concerns the product, it is generally recommended to deliver the product to the Seller together with the claim to allow LAZO Y DUQUE S.L. to analyze the product.
5. LAZO Y DUQUE S.L. will respond to the Consumer's claim immediately, and no later than 14 days from receipt. If the Consumer requests replacement or repair, or has made a price reduction request specifying the amount, and LAZO Y DUQUE S.L. has not responded within fourteen days, the claim is considered accepted.
DISCOUNTS AND PROMOTIONS
Occasionally, we create codes so that you can purchase a Valverde Botas product with a significant discount.
To apply discounts, enter our online store and purchase the product associated with the code. During the purchase process, you will have the option to enter the promo code before payment. Once entered, the discount will be applied immediately.
Alternatively, a promo code may apply to the entire online purchase. In this case, the discount will be automatically applied to the total order when entered.
At Valverde Botas, we offer the widest variety of products at the best price. Subscribing to our Newsletter also grants discounts on selected products.
Images on the website are not contractual but as approximate as possible to the product. The guarantee does not cover slight inaccuracies between the received product and the image on the web.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
LAZO Y DUQUE S.L. reserves the right to make modifications and updates to the information on the website, its layout, access conditions, terms of contract, etc., at any time and without prior notice. Therefore, the USER must access updated versions of the page.
The user is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their web account and for all activities that occur on their web account once delivered by LAZO Y DUQUE S.L. The user agrees to notify LAZO Y DUQUE S.L. immediately of any security breaches.
LAZO Y DUQUE S.L. is not liable for any losses derived from improper or unauthorized use of your web account.
The user is solely responsible for keeping their password confidential and for all activities resulting from its use on pages developed by LAZO Y DUQUE S.L. The user agrees to hold LAZO Y DUQUE S.L. harmless from claims, losses, expenses, damages, and costs (including direct, incidental, consequential, punitive, and indirect damages), and reasonable attorney fees resulting from any non-compliance by the user/buyer with these conditions, whether material or immaterial; the use or misuse of the Services by you or any person acting on your behalf; or any material or immaterial violation of third-party rights, titles, or interests.
Under no circumstances is LAZO Y DUQUE S.L. liable for any breach of contract on your part, negligence regarding the site, service, or content, or for any loss of profits, loss of use, or actual, special, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind resulting from the misuse of the tools provided.
Our sole liability is to deliver the product under the terms expressed in this contract policy.
LAZO Y DUQUE S.L. is not liable for any consequences, damage, or harm arising from the improper use of the supplied products.
LANGUAGE
The language in which the contract between LAZO Y DUQUE S.L. and the Client will be formalized is Spanish.
JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAWS
These Conditions of Use are governed by Spanish law. These Conditions of Use are subject to the provisions of Law 7/1998 on General Conditions of Contract, Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 on Consumers and Users, Royal Decree 1906/1999 regulating Telephone or Electronic Contracting, Law 7/1996 on Retail Commerce Management, and Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce.
In accordance with Article 29 of Law 34/2002 of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, electronic contracts in which a consumer is a party are presumed to be concluded in the place where the consumer has their habitual residence.
Electronic contracts between business owners or professionals and users are presumed to be concluded in the place where the service provider is established. In case of dispute arising from these general conditions, the parties submit, at their free choice, waiving any other jurisdiction, to the courts of the User's domicile.
