Country boots are a type of footwear used since ancient times for their main qualities:
- -Their height, ideal for walking in the countryside, avoiding the rubbing of undergrowth on the legs. The quality of the leathers helps protect the foot while allowing breathability. And above all, their robustness and resistance to wear.
- -Their leather, which fits the foot like a glove.
For all these reasons, they are the preferred boots for pilgrims for El Rocío and are suitable for horse riding, as the softness of the leather transmits direct contact between rider and horse.
All the boots we sell online are Spanish country boots, handmade in Valverde del Camino (Huelva).
In our online store, we have two types of boots according to their height:
High Country Boots
They are distinguished by having a shaft height that varies between 33 and 45 centimetres depending on the model.
Various types of Leather are used in their construction: top-quality oiled calfskin, oiled leather, full-grain calfskin, calfskin, and suede split leather. The inner lining is made of bonded leather (Cuerson) or deerskin.
Each model is differentiated by the decorations it may feature, such as braids, fringes, tassels, flags, or an inner zipper.
Country boots with high heels of 2, 3, or 5 cm depending on the model.
The soles of our boots are mounted on a leather sole with double welt stitching or Goodyear welt.
Low Country Boots
This is a type of short country boot, ideal both for daily use at work and for dressing up and combining with your clothes to be fashionable. Freedom of movement is paramount in this type of boot.
They can be used as both women's country ankle boots or as men's country ankle boots.
